Writer. Dancer.
Builder.
I'm Aimee — a student who writes poems, dances Giselle, edits a 100-year-old school newspaper, and teaches younger kids to argue well. Lately I've been teaching myself to code, so the things I make on paper and on stage now live on the web too. This site is a map of what I've made so far.

Ballet
Twelve years of dance, ~20 performances a year; YAGP 1st Place, Large Ensemble & International Finalist, 2026.

About Me
I'm a senior at Bellevue High School, headed toward Information Science and AI — the places where computer science meets psychology, philosophy, language, and media.
Most of what I do starts with words. I've written poems since 6th grade — 138 of them now — because I believe poetry is a powerful way to communicate our innermost feelings and thoughts. That same instinct pulled me into journalism, where I serve as Editor-in-Chief of The Barque, and into teaching, where I design writing courses for younger students. I also hold the Washington State Seal of Biliteracy in Chinese.
The rest of me lives in motion: twelve years of dance, three of them pre-professional, currently at the highest level of Emerald Ballet Academy.
And recently, I learned to build. Starting from zero, I taught myself Python and web development, and turned my private poetry archive into public websites where anyone can read and share poems. It felt like the two halves of my life — the artistic and the technical — finally shook hands.
Thanks for visiting — I hope something here inspires you to make something of your own.
